6.1 Customizing the Framework

This has already been mentioned a few times:

Out of the box, teamdecoder comes with the following lists in this order:

• People

• Skills

• Roles

• Domains

• Links

• Circles

• Projects

But you can customize this setup:

• Rename the lists

• Hide lists you don’t need

• Change the order of the lists

• Use the "Notes" boxes to describe what you're using each list for

It’s best to start customizing as soon as you begin getting to know the team and using teamdecoder as a notepad.
For example, if you notice that everyone keeps referring to “our services” and who’s responsible for what, it absolutely makes sense to name a list that way.
Or if a team distributes products or clients among themselves, you can use the Domains list for that.
