In my opinion, a true Dream Team is built on three key elements:
Wellbeing – Resilience – Performance
Let’s go through these one by one:
The foundation of everything is that the team is doing well — physically, mentally, and emotionally. This sense of wellbeing is rooted in trust, which in turn is largely created through transparency. And that’s exactly where teamdecoder comes in handy (yes, that was the short pitch 😉).
We’ve reviewed a lot of research on this (links at the end), but here’s the summary:
As an umbrella term for Wellbeing, Resilience, and Performance, I like to use the term Team Health.
In the image, you can clearly see the chain once again:
Studies highlight a number of proven wellbeing benefits that arise when team health is high:
74% less stress
106% more energy at work
50% increase in productivity
13% fewer sick days
76% higher engagement
and 40% fewer cases of burnout!
Resilience refers to a team’s ability to withstand and adapt to change — and ideally even grow from it.
We’ll come back to this concept often throughout the course. This way of working is all about how we cultivate resilience: enabling maximum flexibility, making transformation a natural part of everyday work, and creating a strong sense of stability despite constant change.
